Richard Saxton is one of the most respected figures in the radio control (RC) racing world, with a career defined by precision, consistency, and championship-level performance. Known affectionately in the industry as “The King,” Saxton played a pivotal role in the dominance of the Team Associated RC10GT — a 1:10 scale gas-powered stadium truck that would go down in history as the only undefeated platform in ROAR (Remotely Operated Auto Racers) National Championship competition.

Saxton’s relationship with the RC10GT began in the early 1990s when gas truck racing was starting to gain popularity. Team Associated’s RC10GT debuted with a revolutionary design based on the proven RC10 platform, adapted for nitro power.
